App-specific privacy disclosures

Automated content moderation. Before user-submitted text or photos are published or sent, WatchDog uses Google Cloud Natural Language and Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch to identify toxic, abusive, sexual, violent, exploitative, or otherwise objectionable content. Google processes this content as our service provider for this safety purpose, not for WatchDog advertising.

Allowed text and photos are stored as part of the feature where you submitted them. Rejected text is not published or sent, and rejected photos are deleted. For photo safety checks, we retain a moderation record containing the account identifier, file path, safety decision and category likelihoods, provider, and check time. Automated checks can prevent a submission; contact [email protected] if you believe a safety decision was incorrect.

Account deletion. You can permanently delete your account inside the app from the Account or Profile controls. We delete associated app data, subject to limited retention of legal acceptance, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, and backup records where reasonably necessary or required by law.
